The Bergschaft is an association of young, motivated Swiss mountain guides who have set themselves the goal of creating mountain experiences in harmony with the participants that bring joy and satisfaction into everyday life. We place a high value on collective mountaineering in the rope team, which creates friendships.

Florian Bosshard is enthusiastic about the mountains and their possibilities. He loves climbing on aesthetic walls and ridges. Likewise, freeriding always puts a smile on his face. He loves to show you the swirling snow, the racy turns and the untouched nature.

Jonas Meyer is a young, passionate mountain guide. He loves spending time on ski tours and alpine tours and enjoys the diversity of nature, the remoteness and roughness. He likes to show his guests hidden ascents and secluded descents.

Anne-Aylin Sigg
Anne-Aylin is our specialist in ice climbing. She loves the frozen water and has also been out on the ice in Norway and Canada, among other places. But she also really thrives on skis and in the high mountains on the rock. In addition to mountain guiding, Anne-Aylin works as a doctor in hospital. Her open and communicative nature is a perfect match for Bergschaft.

Jasper
Jasper is an enthusiastic alpinist, he is at home in beautiful Engelberg, but originally comes from Holland. From freeriding to long ridge climbs, Jasper does it all. He loves being in the mountains with his clients and giving them unforgettable experiences for life.

Jonas Alajuuma
Jonas Alajuuma is originally from Finland, but has been living in Engelberg since 2015. He makes the team international and so he is also on the road. Be it in Chamonix, Switzerland or the far north. Ski turns in powder snow and climbing tours in granite make Jonas shine. He also shares this enthusiasm with his guests and enjoys the shared experience.

Julian Kölliker
Julian guides his guests into the mountains with a very empathetic and goal-orientated manner. He is enthusiastic about all mountain sports disciplines and feels equally at home on challenging and steep walls, alpine rock faces or on skis. The methodical and didactic "know-how" that Julian brings with him makes every course exciting and extremely instructive.

Marc Lüthi
Marc Lüthi is one of our Bernese mountain guides. Here they call him "Märgu". With his rustic and down-to-earth manner, he guides our guests through the mountain world in an experienced and friendly way, has an open and communicative manner and uses his words in a targeted manner. His Bernese-German dialect simply suits him! In his free time he likes to go fishing. He loves the seclusion and solitary hours of fly fishing in the wilderness. As a mountain guide, he guarantees an unforgettable experience. Here you can benefit from years of experience and learn a lot!

Martin (Tinu) Siegenthaler
Tinu - as we tell him - has already experienced quite a few adventures and is guaranteed to guide you confidently through any situation. Whether travelling in the expected confusion or during exciting situations on the mountain. His relaxed look and interested manner invite you to talk about more than "just mountains and valleys".

Reto Michael
Originally raised in Val Müstair, skiing was in his cradle. Reto is cosmopolitan and has a few hobbies that might arouse your curiosity. On the mountain, he specifically promotes your skills and accompanies you with empathy through challenging situations. Moreover, due to his size, he can reach every grip and thus save himself the crux.

Rolf Bäbler
Rolf has his roots in Glarus, but he lives his enthusiasm for mountain sports and the people associated with them all over the world. His Glarus dialect is as authentic as his role as a mountain guide and climbing instructor. Rolf shares his wealth of experience with his guests and organises the activities methodically and didactically at the highest level. His laughter and joy at the moments he has experienced are infectious, and Rolf guarantees a great experience.

Simon is probably the guy in the team who has the most fire for climbing. He leads guests through almost every crux, even on steep and challenging rock faces.
