Questions and answers about spontaneous tours and how not to miss the best days in the mountains ?¿
What are spontaneous tours?
Spontaneous tours are tours planned at short notice exactly when and where the conditions are best. These are often day tours, ski tours or freeride days in the Swiss Alps, often planned from Zurich, Lucerne or Bern and always easily accessible by public transport. Spontaneous tours are organised via the Tourmail announced.
How do you plan a spontaneous tour?
For spontaneous tours, we follow the weather forecast day by day and decide a few days in advance where we are going. We gather a lot of information for this:
- Weather: SRF & MeteoSwiss
- Snow: SLF
- Webcams
With the combination of our repertoire of cool tours and the current danger level, we select the most rewarding tours.
How do I get on a spontaneous tour?
To be informed about spontaneous tours, you can use the Tourmail and select the mountain sports you would like to be informed about. As soon as we advertise one, we will inform you by e-mail and you can register.
