Bright sunshine awaits us on Wednesday. We use this day for another spontaneous tour, which was already promising on Sunday. The Lobhörner peaks above Lauterbrunnen and Isenfluh are among the most impressive winter mountains in the Bernese Oberland. Their striking peaks are a real eye-catcher and we also constantly enjoy the magnificent view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau! The round tour through this area combines everything that makes a good ski tour: varied terrain, slopes with great views and a very special atmosphere far away from the hustle and bustle. Together we undertake an enjoyable round tour with moderate ascents and beautiful descents. Depending on the conditions, we have the choice of shady slopes with possibly a little powder or beautiful sunny slopes with good snow conditions. Depending on the conditions, we choose the optimum route and use the best slopes for our turns. The terrain is ideal for travelling safely and relaxed as a group. With time for breaks, views and a stop at the Lobhornhütte for a delicious coffee. This tour is perfect for anyone looking for an enjoyable ski tour in the Bernese Oberland and who loves the combination of exercise, scenic attractions and beautiful turns in the snow.
Procedure and meeting place
We meet at the Isenfluh cable car station.
We set off on a beautiful circular tour along the Lobhörner. We are always accompanied by spectacular views of the lake landscape and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau triumvirate.
We finish this round tour together back at the Isenfluh valley station.
Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Stamina for ski tours with around 1000 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h) and around 1000 metres downhill.
- Splitboarders are very welcome

- Small group with 4 - 7 guests per mountain guide.
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.

Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
