Technics
Endurance
In Bellwald, the view of the Weisshorn and the Matterhorn is in a league of its own. In addition, the railway support makes it easier for us to reach the heights and thus the touring terrain. The hilly terrain and the many options enrich our selection. Jèrome chooses a nice variation for you. The eastern slopes are also still promising for good snow. We first ascend about 500 metres in altitude, enjoy the beautiful snow and then ski up a second time to ascend another 300 metres in altitude. Afterwards, a fantastic descent towards Goms awaits us. We come out in Selkingen/Biel 🙂 By the end, we have covered 2000 metres in altitude. With tired legs and a full heart, we set off on our journey home.
Procedure and meeting place
We meet at the Bellwald mountain station. The time is adapted to the first train connection from Zurich.
We use the railway support to get to the touring area. We then climb about 500 metres in altitude to the Täschehorn. A beautiful first descent awaits us before we skin up again to climb another 300 metres in altitude. We then take the brilliant descent towards Goms, Selkingen.
We end the tour in Selkingen/Biel. Public transport will take us back to the starting point.
Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Stamina for ski tours of around 800 - 1000 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h) and downhill.
- Splitboarders are welcome, provided they are experienced.

- Small group with 4 - 7 guests per mountain guide.
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.

Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
