Spontaneous ski tour: Best of Simplon with mountain guide:in
The forecast on the Simplon is for 10-20 cm, maybe even up to 30 cm of fresh snow. Perfect conditions for a cool powder day!

Depending on the weather and visibility, we adapt the plan flexibly and have two options for experiencing the best of the Simplon on Sunday.
Option A: If it is still cloudy in the morning, we use the forest area for good orientation and the lifts for several great descents in fresh snow. As soon as it brightens up, we climb further up to a beautiful summit. We finish with a long, enjoyable descent. Option B: If we have good visibility and good weather in the morning, we'll make our way to the King's Line in the morning and climb one of the prominent peaks from the pass. In this variant, we will also enjoy a really rewarding descent in fresh snow.
Procedure and meeting place
We meet at the Simplon. We start the tour from there.

In this variant, we will also enjoy a really rewarding descent in fresh snow.We finish the tour together again at the Simplon Pass, Rothwald.
Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Stamina for ski tours with around 1000 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h) and around 1000 metres downhill.
- Splitboarders are very welcome

- CHF 195.-
- Small group with 4 - 7 guests per mountain guide.
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.

Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
