Climbing instructor in training Larissa Samland

Nowhere does Larissa feel freer and more alive than on a climbing wall. In the middle of a big wall on a multi-pitch climb or highly focussed on a challenging route, places where she is completely absorbed. Climbing is her great passion and training as a climbing instructor is a matter close to her heart. It gives her great pleasure to pass on her enthusiasm and knowledge to others and once she starts talking about climbing, there's no stopping her. In addition to climbing, Larissa also spends a lot of time in the mountains. In winter, she can regularly be found on her touring skis and in summer she enjoys long ridge tours. Exercise in nature is essential for her - be it trail running, on her racing bike or on the cross-country ski trail.

At Bergschaft, Larissa works in the organisation and planning of climbing tours and courses. Larissa also puts her heart and soul into her role as a youth organisation leader in the Bachtel section. Accompanying young people on their first tours and experiencing unforgettable moments in the mountains with them means a lot to her.

To summarise, Larissa prefers to spend her time outdoors - high up, in the clear mountain air, surrounded by nature. Of course, she enjoys the cake and coffee after a successful tour just as much and enjoys the dialogue and exciting conversations.
