Mountain guide Curdin Winzeler
Curdin grew up in Brigels and has had a close connection with the mountains since childhood. What inspired him from an early age has now become his profession: As a mountain guide, he accompanies people on ski tours, freeride adventures, high-altitude treks and climbing expeditions, sharing his enthusiasm for the alpine world with them. Curdin is cheerful, lively and always up for a good joke or a natter. In the mountains, he particularly values the shared experiences and the diverse group of people who accompany him on his tours. For him, mountain guiding is not just about reaching the summit, but also about the journey itself – being out there together, experiencing new things and, in the end, returning to the valley with a sense of fulfilment. Curdin now lives in Laax, which provides him with an ideal base for numerous mountain adventures in Graubünden and beyond. Alongside his work as a mountain guide, Curdin also brings experience as a qualified forester (EFZ), lorry driver and patrol officer. This wide-ranging experience shapes his perspective on nature and his ability to handle alpine situations safely. As a mountain guide, Curdin accompanies his guests with a wealth of experience, enthusiasm and a good dose of Graubünden calm.
