Jasper is an enthusiastic alpinist who lives in beautiful Engelberg and originally comes from Holland. From freeriding to long ridge climbs, Jasper does it all. He loves being in the mountains with his clients and giving them unforgettable experiences for life.

From the booking and communication right through to the tour itself, everything was perfect. There were five pairs of climbers in total, which also made for a very entertaining evening in the hut. The tour was a bit more challenging due to the snow conditions (climbing with crampons, the cold, the wind), and Max, the trainee mountain guide assigned to me, made the tour a thoroughly enjoyable and wonderful experience for me thanks to his excellent and professional guidance. The high-altitude mountaineering course was really cool! I had a great time, learnt loads and now feel ready for more high-altitude climbs. Jasper and Ivo were brilliant guides; they catered to everyone’s needs and created a fantastic atmosphere. The group was great too – all in all, a really successful experience!

We had great touring days in Disentis:: Top guide Jasper, great group, super hosts/accommodation and 4 days of sunshine - it was simply marvellous.

I have now been on a 4-day tour with Bergschaft for the 3rd time. From the organisation to the execution, everything was just great. I would book again at any time. The price is worth it.

The Bergschaft guides are always super professional, knowledgable, patient & fun. Every Bergschaft event I have joined everyone has been super friendly, the ski festival had a great mix of skiing options and post ski workshops. The mountain first aid was really insightful and the hotel was a fab. Great food too. Sadly I missed the film festival but hopefully can attend next year!
