Mountain guide Jérôme Beffa

Jérôme grew up in Termen above Brig. He came to mountain sports at an early age via KiBe and JO Visp. He sees himself as an all-rounder in mountain sports and enjoys all disciplines, even if he doesn't see himself as a crack at any one of them. His favourite thing to do is to go on classic tours. Jérôme has been head of the JO Visp for four years and is highly motivated to help young people. He is also active in the Blatten-Belalp rescue centre, where he also enjoys getting involved and continuing his training. In addition to his mountaineering activities, Jérôme works as a hydraulic engineer and makes music, especially singing. He appreciates dialogue on an equal footing and enjoys a good laugh.
