Adventure ski tour in Glarus
Sunny ascent and shady, steep couloir in impressive terrain!
The conditions are great and it's time to go on a more challenging ski tour. We drive into a remote side valley of the Glarnerland and undertake a racy ski tour there. We ascend 1200 metres and enter a north-facing couloir with a slope inclination of around 35°. The mountain guide abseils us down the first few metres before we make the magnificent descent in impressive terrain. The descent first leads a short way down a couloir about 10 metres wide, before the descent becomes much more open and there is plenty of room to ski. The first part can also be made easier with a rope from the mountain guide. A lonely tour, which still has powder snow for a long time and now has great conditions.
