Summit of the Mönch at Whitsun

The triumvirate of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is one of the most impressive mountain landscapes in the Alps. The 4000-metre peaks rise up strikingly from the Bernese Oberland and form an unparalleled high-alpine backdrop. Together we immerse ourselves in this world and climb the Mönch, the Trugberg and the Jungfrau on skis in spring. Thanks to the Jungfraujochbahn cable car, we can easily reach the starting point and after a short time we are in the middle of the high mountains, surrounded by glaciers, firn fields and magnificent peaks. The tours are not overly technically difficult and are a good way to gain your first experience at high altitude. At the same time, the summit ascents demand attention and safe walking: short climbing passages and exposed firn ridges are part of the challenge and are what make these undertakings so appealing. Until well into spring, we find the best conditions here for high-altitude ski tours with impressive scenery, enjoyable descents and the special feeling of being out and about on big peaks.
