Questions and answers about our climbing trips and how to tackle the evening buffet even with thick forearms? ¿

  • Who are our climbing trips suitable for?

Our climbing holidays are aimed at anyone who wants to combine a passion for rock climbing with a relaxed holiday atmosphere. We offer trips for various levels – from climbers who are confident on Grade 5 routes to experienced sport climbers looking to tackle new areas.

  • Can I take part in a climbing trip as a single traveller?

Absolutely! Many of our guests book on their own. Once you’re here, we’ll organise suitable climbing teams so you can make friends straight away. A climbing holiday is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people and find new climbing partners.

  • What is a typical day like on a climbing holiday?

After breakfast together, we’ll drive to the chosen climbing area. Depending on the sector, we’ll be climbing until the afternoon, honing our technique or enjoying spectacular routes. Afterwards, there’ll be plenty of time to relax, have a swim in the sea or explore local villages, before we round off the day with a cosy dinner.

  • Do I need to arrange accommodation and transfers once I’m there?

No. On our climbing trips, you’ll benefit from a carefully planned all-inclusive package. We organise the accommodation (e.g. charming fincas, hotels or flats) as well as the on-site logistics. All you need to do is sort out your journey here – though we’d be happy to advise you on that too.

  • How much climbing experience do I need for a guided climbing trip?

That depends on the specific destination. In most areas, there are routes of all levels of difficulty. You should have a basic understanding of belaying and roping up. Your mountain guide will select the most suitable sectors each day to ensure that all participants get the most out of the experience. Please read through the requirements for each specific trip; if you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to Please get in touch with us!

  • What equipment do I need to take with me on a climbing trip?

You’ll need your own climbing kit (harness, helmet, climbing shoes, belay device, and possibly a rope and quickdraws). You’ll receive a detailed equipment list well in advance of the trip. And of course, don’t forget your swimwear at home!
