Andermatt action on Thursday! After last Saturday's fresh snow and with great weather, we set out on a dream line. Easy start with the Gemsstock cable car, enjoy the first firn descent, then approx. 750 metres up to the summit, the last part with crampons and into an impressive couloir amidst the granite needles! The conditions are perfect: soft snow on the north side, great slush on the south side. Almost 2000 metres of descent plus a technical challenge make for a fantastic day of ski touring! The start from the couloir is around 45° steep, then a long 35 - 40°. We overcome the start with the rope. Let's experience this together!
