Day Tours | Christmas and New Year Tours Greater Andermatt Region
Lonely tours and powdery descents on the festive days!
On Saturday, we will take part in a skiing technique course for deep snow skiing on the Gemsstock in Andermatt.
On Sunday we make a varied crossing from the Gemsstock to the Gloggentürmli and continue in the midday sulz on the Gotthard Pass road, finally to Hospental.
Between Christmas and New Year we will certainly be offering some spontaneous tours. Jonas is based in Andermatt and will be offering day tours in the greater Andermatt area (Uri, Obergoms, Oberalp Pass and from the ski area) during these days. If you would like to take part in all the days, all the better, then you can book your own accommodation in or around Andermatt. We will spontaneously select the best destinations and undertake downhill-orientated ski tours!

Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Fitness for ski tours with around 1000 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h) and often significantly more downhill.
- Splitboarders are welcome.
Price and services
- CHF 225.-
- Takes place with 4 - 6 guests per mountain guide.
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.
Material and equipment
- We have for you a detailed packing list with packing tips compiled.
- For this tour you need the following material from this PDF. We carry our equipment with us all the time. Pack only what is necessary.
Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
