Ridge climbing in alpine terrain | Rock course with application tours from the hotel
Experience rocky ridges, learn to scramble - your way into alpine terrain.
High tours and alpine mountain tours often lead over rocky ridges - airy, exposed and full of adventure. The climbing is usually easy, but the demands on surefootedness, overview and efficient rope technique are high. This is exactly where our course comes in. Together we will work on the basics of safe movement on the ridge. You will learn how to belay and move efficiently on the rock - from micro rope lengths to rope shortening and abseiling. Whether as a refresher or an introduction: the course is practically orientated. On the first day, we practise the most important techniques on easy terrain. On the following two days, we will apply what we have learnt directly on two varied ridge tours. In this way, you will deepen your knowledge, gain routine - and experience how beautiful scrambling in exposed terrain can be.
