Freeride and freetouring Lenzerheide - Arosa with the local
Sun and fresh snow, combined with the knowledge of the local mountain guide!
Finally a good portion of fresh snow again! There will be widespread precipitation until Wednesday and the weather will be fine in the morning or by midday at the latest. We take advantage of this to ski as many metres as possible in powder snow. As long as it is still cloudy in the contrasting terrain and as soon as the clouds clear in the more open and higher terrain. Lenzerheide - Arosa is ideal for this. There are beautiful forests below and magnificent descents from the Parpaner Rothorn and Weisshorn or from the Hörnlihütte to Tschiertschen. Depending on the conditions and weather, we will also do a short ascent to round off the day. One thing is for sure, with Julian, who has also worked as a patroller in the ski area, we will be travelling with someone who knows the area perfectly and will be delighted to show you his home area! Together we will enjoy a great day in the fresh snow!

- Meeting point: 8.35 at the Rothornbahn valley station (bus stop, Lenzerheide/Lai, Rothornbahn)
- Back in Chur approx. 16:30
Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Condition for 2000m of descent in different types of snow.
- Possible short climbs with the skins
- Splitboarders are welcome.
Group size
- Takes place with 4 - 6 guests per mountain guide.

Material and equipment
- You will need the normal ski touring equipment for this tour. Including skins, avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. Lunch in a restaurant.

Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
