Sunrise over the glacier

Immerse yourself in the world of mountaineering with us and experience and learn the techniques and tactics of mountain climbing. We'll be out and about together, learning how to use ice axes and crampons and travelling on the impressive Glacier de Moiry. We learn how to shorten ropes and how to handle ropes on easy rock ridges. We learn to recognise dangers in the high mountains and how to deal with them. There will also be a shared summit experience! This rock and ice course takes place in the Cabanne du Moiry in Valais. Thanks to the short ascent of 1.5 hours, we can already learn a lot on the first day. The mountains around the Moiry hut are perfect for courses: short but beautiful tours in rock and ice await us and we can always enjoy the impressive view of the surrounding 4,000 metre peaks of the Valais.
