  • Day 1 - Meeting point at the hut

    We meet the evening before the tour at the Cabane de la Dent Blanche, at 5.00 pm at the latest. The ascent from Ferpècle to the hut is long, demanding and scenically impressive. You climb up to the hut through lonely high mountain scenery and over partly bouldery terrain. We recommend setting off early so that you have enough time and rest for the ascent. The Cabane de la Dent Blanche (3507 m) is in a spectacular location: it is perched in solitude on a rocky spur high above the Glacier de Ferpècle - with magnificent views of the surrounding glaciers and peaks. We spend the night here and prepare for the summit day.

  • Day 2 - Ascent of the Dent Blanche

    We set off early in the morning in the light of our headlamps and cross the impressive glacier plateau below the Dent Blanche. We soon reach the start of the south ridge, an impressive alpine route that combines varied climbing up to grade 3, firn passages and exposed passages. Always surrounded by high alpine scenery, we climb towards the summit in the morning sun. Once at the top, one of the most magnificent panoramas in the Alps awaits us, with views of the Matterhorn, Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Mont Blanc and many other four-thousand-metre peaks. The descent back to the hut follows the same route. Depending on your condition and personal requirements, we recommend another overnight stay at the Cabane de la Dent Blanche before returning to the valley the following day.

  • Du hast bereits Erfahrung auf Hochtouren gesammelt und kannst bis zum 3. Grad in Bergschuhen klettern.
  • Walking on crampons is no problem for you and you have already gained some experience with them.
  • You feel comfortable in exposed terrain and have already climbed a few ridges.
