Ski tour | New Year's tour days on the Gemmi with a mountain guide
Enjoy the lonely nature and start the year with beautiful ski tours, sociable hut evenings, racy descents and comfortable ascents.
Together we spend four days in the ski touring paradise on the Gemmi. We spend the night in the Lämmerenhütte and enjoy great hospitality. We love the area around the Gemmi: impressive mountains, imposing peaks with magnificent views of the 4,000 metre peaks of Valais. The touring options are varied, with the Daubenhorn and Wildstrubel being the best-known peaks in the area and rewarding tour destinations. There are also secluded and hidden tours and traverses. We will choose the most rewarding ones and enjoy great touring days together. But togetherness is just as important to us, we are excited and full of anticipation to start the new year with you and spend four eventful days together.

Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Condition for ski tours with around 1000hm at a comfortable pace (~300hm/h).
- Condition for 1000m of descent in different types of snow.
- Splitboarders are welcome, provided they are experienced.
Group size
- Takes place with 4 - 6 guests per mountain guide.
Price and services
- CHF 1090.-
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Including overnight stay in a hut, with half board.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.
Material and equipment
- We have for you a detailed packing list with packing tips compiled.
- For this tour you need the following material from this PDF. We carry our equipment with us all the time. Pack only what is necessary.
Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
