Profile of the Finsteraarhorn

The Finsteraarhorn, a striking, dark peak in the middle of the impressive glacier world of the Bernese Alps, can be seen from afar. Its dark peak draws the eye from afar. Skis are the first choice for this tour, as the glaciers are wide! The summit ridge is exposed with some easy climbing, but it is never really difficult. The fantastic ski slopes and fantastic descents over the glaciers make up for this! Another highlight often crowns the last day: the tour to the Galmihorn. From this wonderful panoramic mountain, we look back to the Finsteraarhorn, which we conquered together, and gaze out over the Valais Alps. From the Galmihorn, we enjoy another marvellous descent in sulz snow. The last few metres on foot through the sparse pine forest is like arriving in spring. At the railway station, we look back on the fantastic days of ski touring together and enjoy a refreshing dip in the mountain stream.
