    We meet at the Schwägalp cable car station. You can already buy a single journey. The first cable car departs at 08:30. Depending on the variant, we get off at Masten 2 or at the summit.

  • Day tour

    There are many variants and we choose the most suitable one on site. Depending on the variant, we ascend around 800 - 1000 metres and descend considerably more. We use crampons and ice axes and descend a steep couloir.

  • Conclusion

    We end the day at the same place.

• Requirements

  • Solid ski touring technique.
  • Good skiing skills up to 35 - 40°. The steep passages can also be defused with the rope.
  • First experience with ice axe and crampons.
  • Stamina for ski tours of around 800 metres at a normal pace (~350m/h).
  • Condition for 2000m of descent in different types of snow.
  • Splitboarders are welcome, provided they are very experienced.
