Val d'Anniviers VS

Grimentz, located deep in the Val d'Anniviers in Valais, is a true ski touring paradise. A vast, wild terrain with many possibilities awaits us, from classic peaks to hidden downhill pearls. High starting points, reliable snow conditions and spectacular descents make this region the perfect playground for enjoyable ski touring days with a mountain guide. Thanks to the lifts, we start comfortably high up in the terrain. Short ascents and long, rewarding descents await us, far away from the hustle and bustle of the pistes. We choose suitable tour destinations every day, depending on the weather, avalanche conditions and the group's abilities. We explore hidden valleys, secluded slopes and scenic crossings between the side valleys.

We meet in the morning directly in Grimentz. Individual arrival is possible both by car and by public transport - either on the same day or relaxed the day before. If private cars are available on site, this increases our flexibility: depending on the weather, snow conditions and wishes of the group, we can choose the best tour combinations and get the most out of our ski touring days.

After arriving in Grimentz, we strap on our skins and set off directly on our first ski tour together. Depending on the weather and conditions, we choose a suitable half-day tour - ideal for familiarising ourselves with the terrain and bonding as a group. Back in the valley, we check into the hotel together, relax at the end of the day and get in the mood for the upcoming tour experiences over a delicious dinner.

      Possible tour ideas are:

      • Bella Tola - Illhorn (3025 m / 2716 m): This tour is particularly rewarding with around 450 metres of ascent and over 1700 metres of descent! It impresses with a magnificent view over the Val d'Anniviers.
