    We will meet in the morning in All'Acqua, in Val Bedretto. Val Bedretto is easily accessible by car and public transport. If travelling by train, we recommend taking the connection via Airolo and the Postbus to All'Acqua.

  • Day 1 – Ascent to the Cristallina Hut

    900 metres altitude

    3–4 hours

    We meet in Val Bedretto in the morning and start the ascent to the Cristallina Hut together. Depending on the conditions, we either climb directly from All'Acqua or take the opportunity to take a slightly more varied route via Val Torta. On the way, we get used to the terrain, adjust our pace and enjoy the first few metres of altitude. Once at the top, we move into the hut, enjoy a warm cup of tea and discuss the tour destinations for the next day over dinner.

  • Day 2 – Classic ski tours around the hut

    4–6 hours

    After an early breakfast, we set off for one of the region's rewarding summit destinations. Possible tours include Poncione di Val Piana, Poncione Cavagnolo, Cristallina or Poncione di Valleggia.
    Depending on the weather and avalanche conditions, we will choose the best destination and enjoy wide slopes, panoramic peaks and wonderful descents back to the hut. In the afternoon, there will be time to rest, enjoy a warm drink in the hut and relax in preparation for the next day.

  • Day 3 – Final tour & descent into the valley

    600–900 metres of elevation gain

    1600 metres altitude

    4–5 hours

    To conclude, we will undertake another ski tour that will take us up to one of the surrounding peaks. After a rewarding descent, we will return to the valley and conclude the weekend together at the car park or over a cup of coffee.

  • Conclusion

    Approximately 3 p.m. in All'Acqua

    Back in the valley, we say goodbye and set off on our return journey, either in carpools or individually.

  • Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
  • Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
  • Stamina for ski tours of around 800 - 1000 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h).
  • Splitboarders are welcome.
