Grindelwald
Grindelwald is a great area for ski tours from the ski area. Various variants lead into different terrain basins and offer great descents and when it snows freshly, the magnificent freeride descents below the north face of the Eiger beckon! Our mountain guide knows the area inside out, so we'll be able to enjoy great tours and freeride days! We'll enjoy a great weekend of ski touring and freeriding in Grindelwald from the hotel!
Venue & meeting point
- Area: Grindelwald, Bernese Oberland
- Meeting point: approx. 9.00 a.m. in Grindelwald, the meeting point will be adapted to the prevailing conditions
- Finish: approx. 16.00 in Grindelwald
- Overnight stay: Hotel Sonnenbergin the centre of Grindelwald. If you have your own accommodation, you can get in touch with us.
Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Fitness for ski tours from the ski area with around 800 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h) and significantly more downhill.
- Condition for 1000m of descent in different types of snow.
- Splitboarders are welcome.
Group size
- Takes place with 4 - 7 guests per mountain guide.

- CHF 545.-
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Including hotel with breakfast buffet, excluding dinner.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.

- For this tour you need the following material from this PDF. We carry our equipment with us all the time. Pack only what is necessary.
Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
