Ski tour in Eastern Switzerland – Spontaneously in the right place
Winter is already showing its beautiful white side: we can expect lots of snow, reaching far down into the valley. Powder snow and sunshine await us on a fantastic ski tour!

Many of us already made our first turns in the fresh snow last weekend. Now there will be plenty more fresh snow over the next few days. The mountain regions and higher altitudes in particular will be beautifully white by the middle of the week. But there could also be enough snow far down into the valley. We are starting the season with our first spontaneous tours and are planning a great tour for Friday. We will decide in the middle of the week where we will definitely go and head for the best snow and avalanche conditions, e.g. in the Flumserberg or Weissenberge region. We will take a cable car to the start of the tour, climb about 800 metres on skis and then enjoy a much longer descent. Fun and a great atmosphere guaranteed.
At the beginning of the season, we start off gently, walking at a comfortable pace and taking our time to get our legs and movements used to ascents and descents again.
P.S: Tour for Saturday is also being planned.
Procedure and meeting place
We will let you know the exact meeting point in due course. In any case, this tour will take place somewhere in eastern Switzerland (near Flumserberg, Weissenberge, Prättigau, etc.). If necessary, we will organise carpooling from a railway station.
We go on a lovely ski tour with approx. 800–1,000 metres of elevation gain and even more descent, enjoying the fresh powder snow.
We finish the tour together in the valley.
Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Fitness for ski tours with around 800-1000 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h) and significantly more downhill.
- Splitboarders are welcome.

- CHF 195.-
- Small group with 4 - 7 guests per mountain guide.
- Including planning and implementation with mountain guide
- Excluding travel expenses, train tickets, personal consumption.

Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
