Spontaneous crossing of the Arosa Valley - Prättigau with mountain guide

Endurance
The terrain between Arosa and Prättigau is playful and offers many options and possibilities. Gentle slopes, sunny ascents and shady descents await us here. Thanks to the lifts and the snow conditions, we can ski down much more than we can ski up! From St. Peter - Molinis in the Arosa Valley, we set off on a day's crossing to Prättigau. At the start, we use a railway to take us up to the summit. From there, we climb a total of two beautiful peaks. Two ascents and two beautiful shady descents await us. Our final destination is Fideris. For this tour, we recommend travelling by train and bus from Landquart at the latest. Because we experience a beautiful crossing together. The starting and finishing points are in different valleys.
Procedure and meeting place
We meet in St. Peter - Molinis at the bus station. From there, a taxi will take us to the valley station of the Hochwang cable car.
Our destination for the day is the other side of the valley. We shorten the first few metres in altitude with a small cable car. From there, we climb over two beautiful peaks, fill our skis once again and experience a lot together until we arrive on the other side in Fideris.
We finish the tour together in Fideris.
Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Stamina for ski tours with just under 1000 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h) and around 2000 metres downhill.
- Splitboarders are very welcome.

- CHF 195.-
- Small group with 4 - 7 guests per mountain guide.
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.
Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
