A fantastic, memorable tour up the Mönch. Unfortunately, we were unable to tackle the Jungfrau due to the conditions, but the team of mountain guides organised an alternative route up the Walcherhorn instead. Fabian, our mountain guide, was brilliant. He led us with absolute confidence, and his decisions were always well-reasoned. He played a key part in ensuring we had such a fantastic experience.

An absolutely brilliant tour! Two wonderful days with an overnight stay at the mountain hut. Our mountain guide, Tinle, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and kept us safe. The organisation was excellent from start to finish. In particular, the last-minute change of plans due to the weather was handled perfectly, and the second day was just as lovely as the first, if not more so. A brilliant tour – highly recommended! I’d go on a tour with Bergschaft again in a heartbeat.

Climbing the Eiger via the Mittellegi Ridge was an absolutely brilliant experience for me. We had incredible weather and, with Fabian as our mountain guide, everything just clicked from the very first moment. A very comfortable pace, great vibes and a really good flow within the rope team – focused and safe, but at the same time taking immense pleasure in the climb. Setting off early, that incredibly impressive sunrise in the mountains, and then ascending metre by metre along the exposed Mittellegi Ridge were simply unforgettable. The climbing was incredibly fun, and the traverse along the ridge up to the summit of the Eiger was simply breathtaking, both in terms of the scenery and the mountaineering itself. One of those tours where simply everything comes together – the mountain, the weather, the rope team and that very special flow. For me, definitely a mountaineering experience that will stay with me for a long time. Highly recommended!

I felt really safe, encouraged and well looked after the whole time. I really, really appreciated all the words of encouragement during my first 4,000 metres; it made a real difference and made for a truly amazing first experience. I’ve already recommended Bergschaft to my colleagues!

Clint and Fabian led a truly memorable 4-day ski tour to Tödi, and I can't recommend them highly enough! Their mix of technical expertise and calm, thoughtful leadership really stood out. They were constantly balancing avalanche risk, route choices, and group pace, and we always felt safe and in great hands. Clint and Fabian handled the group extremely well, keeping everyone together at a pace that worked for all. Communication was clear throughout, and they made a real effort to include both German and non-German speakers. Overall, there was a strong focus on safety without taking away from the experience. We could relax, trust their decisions, and just enjoy the tour, and we had tons of fun along the way! An outstanding team, already looking forward to the next one with them!

The tour advertised for tourers who have already done their first tours met my expectations completely. fully met my expectations. The detailed expectations of the participants were clarified at the beginning of the two-day course. Once again, we gained a lot of insight into individual slope assessments directly in the terrain, in different terrain chambers and exposures. We also discussed the classic critical factors of individual avalanche problems and, in addition to different hairpin bend techniques, gained many other great insights into tour planning before and during a tour. The course was a complete success and is highly recommended for tourers who want to become more confident in their own tour planning.
