Ski touring and avalanche | Furka basic course with application tours with mountain guide
We accompany you into the world of ski touring - in 4 days with enough time!
This varied four-day ski touring course combines training and practical tours in an impressive high alpine environment. We teach you the basics of ski touring, give you personalised feedback and take the time to cover all the important topics. The aim is to train you so that you can enter the world of ski touring safely and well prepared. The Berghotel Tiefenbach is idyllically situated on the old Furka Pass, high above Realp in the Urseren Valley. In winter, it can only be reached on touring skis - it is precisely this seclusion that makes the place so special: quiet, snow-sure and surrounded by a fascinating mountain world. Tiefenbach therefore offers the perfect starting point for varied training and practice tours.
Course content & procedure
We meet at Realp railway station. There are also plenty of parking spaces here. From here, it's a 2-hour walk on touring skis to the remote Berghotel Tiefenbach.

On the first day we will learn a lot of new things, applied and practice-orientated. We take the time to deliberately repeat the topics several times to create confidence.
