Eastern Switzerland

Do you finally want to venture from the climbing garden into the long tours - not be back on the ground after just one pitch, but instead complete pitch after pitch? Then this three-day course in beautiful Toggenburg in eastern Switzerland is just the thing for you! Around Unterwasser you will find countless rewarding climbing areas such as Stoos, the Mittagswand or the Schattenwand - all ideal places to get started in multi-pitch climbing. The impressive backdrop of the Säntis and Churfirsten mountains provides a unique mountain atmosphere and unforgettable climbing days. We deliberately take three days to impart sound knowledge and safety on the rock: On the first day, the focus is on training. You will learn the basic techniques of multi-pitch climbing or refresh your knowledge - topics such as planning, belay station construction, rope handling as well as rescue and first aid are at the centre of this. On the following two days, we put what we have learnt into practice: We climb varied multi-pitch routes on solid limestone, practise efficient sequences and consolidate your technique. In this way, you will consolidate your routine and, if you wish, you can also lead climb yourself to gain confidence in your equipment and movement. On the second evening, our mountain guide will give you an exciting theoretical input on meteorology, rescue and first aid - knowledge that you can put into practice the next day.

These three days offer you the perfect mix of training, application and experience - with plenty of climbing time, valuable input and a great community in the midst of the impressive rocky landscape of Eastern Switzerland.
