Ski tour from Saas Fee, view of the Strahlhorn

Ski touring and mountaineering on 4000 metre peaks is the best combination. It's simply fun to climb over the snow-covered glaciers at dawn, reach a proud summit and then glide back over the beautiful slopes and flat glaciers. In these 2 days, we will take you on two great ski mountaineering tours to over 4000 metres and show you what to look out for and how to behave on the glaciers and ski mountaineering tours. We meet in Saas-Fee and, thanks to the cable cars, can immerse ourselves in the high mountain world right away and start with the tour to the Allalinhorn. We then spend the night in the beautifully situated Britannia hut. We set off early the next day and head across the wide glaciers to the Strahlhorn. With these good conditions, we can ski down to the Mattmark reservoir after the Strahlhorn. A descent of around 2000 metres awaits us! From there we can take a taxi back to Saas Grund or Saas Fee.

  • Urs Schumacher

Fantastic touring days, clouds, wind but also lots of sunshine. Perfect conditions. Top tour guide with Phillipp. Thank you for your calm, professional and patient manner. Keep up the good work. Many thanks also to Simon. Greetings Urs
  • Lulu

We had an incredibly enjoyable 3-day tour in the glacier world of Saas-Fee. Simon and Kevin were great mountain guides who were super motivated to teach us and guided us safely past the crevasses and in the whiteout. We can heartily recommend Bergschaft and the mountain guides: Good organisation beforehand and great execution of the tour with wonderful descents and great summit experiences at over 4000m. We always felt safe. Many thanks for the unforgettable days!
