If you like travelling off the beaten track and enjoy challenging descents, you've come to the right place. For three days, we are on the lookout for varied ski tours, hidden couloirs and attractive lines in alpine terrain.

We plan our tours together, assess the conditions and put what we have learnt directly into practice. The focus is not on gaining as many metres in altitude as possible, but on the quality of the tours and the conscious experience of the terrain.

Small groups allow us to cater to the individual needs of the participants and adapt the tour destinations to the current conditions. This results in intensive days with exciting ascents, impressive descents and many instructive moments in the wintry mountains.

  • Course content and procedure

    • Meeting place

approx. 08:35 bus stop Lenzerheide/Lai, Rothorn cable car

We meet at the bus stop Lenzerheide/ Lai, Rothornbahn, after the arrival of public transport. We get to know each other and clarify organisational matters.

    • Day 1 - Application tour to the accommodation

After being welcomed by the mountain guide, we pack the food for the coming days into our rucksacks at the self-catering hut. We gain our first few metres of altitude on the cable cars and take the opportunity to gather some initial information about the current conditions and the terrain. Together, we discuss the day’s planned tour and then set off.

After a varied climb and an enjoyable descent, we reach our destination for the day, the self-catering hut. There, we settle into our accommodation and enjoy the special atmosphere far away from civilisation.

In the evening, we prepare our own meals together in the hut. Melting snow, purifying water and cooking together make this part of the day a special experience and ensure a cosy end to the first day of the tour. Afterwards, we look back on the day together and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead in the mountains.

    • Day 2 - Application tour around the hut

After a hearty breakfast, we set off on a varied ski tour through alpine terrain. The ascent takes us through stunning scenery up to a summit with spectacular views. Depending on the conditions, we can expect some challenging sections that will make for a particularly varied day.

The highlight of the day is the descent. As well as beautiful slopes, the tour also offers the chance to ski down a couloir and enjoy the special experience of a steep and impressive run. To round off the alpine adventure, we may need to use a rope to negotiate certain sections and abseil down a snow cornice or a short rocky ledge.

In the afternoon, we arrive at our accommodation and round off an eventful day of touring together.

    • Day 3 - Application tour

On the third day, we’ll set off on another exciting and varied ski mountaineering and couloir tour. The past few days have already taken us across a wide variety of terrain, and today, too, an impressive route with a rewarding summit awaits us.

The ascent takes us through varied alpine landscapes, before the descent treats us to some special highlights once again. Depending on conditions, we’ll ski down an impressive couloir and enjoy the variety of the terrain. The combination of challenging sections, magnificent mountain scenery and enjoyable descents makes this day’s tour yet another unforgettable experience.

    • Conclusion

      approx. 15:00

We finish the tour together back in the valley.
