Disentis

If you like travelling off the beaten track and enjoy challenging descents, you've come to the right place. For three days, we are on the lookout for varied ski tours, hidden couloirs and attractive lines in alpine terrain.

We plan our tours together, assess the conditions and put what we have learnt directly into practice. The focus is not on gaining as many metres in altitude as possible, but on the quality of the tours and the conscious experience of the terrain.

Small groups allow us to cater to the individual needs of the participants and adapt the tour destinations to the current conditions. This results in intensive days with exciting ascents, impressive descents and many instructive moments in the wintry mountains.

  • Content and procedure

    • Meeting place

approx. 9.15 a.m. Disentis valley station

We meet at the valley station after the public transport arrives. We get to know each other and clarify organisational matters.

    • Day 1

We gain our first few metres of altitude on the cable cars and take the opportunity to gather some initial information about the current conditions and the terrain. Together, we discuss the day’s planned route and then set off.

After the tour, we’ll check into the hotel and look forward to a well-deserved dinner.

    • Day 2 - 3

We organise varied tours starting from the ski resort. You can expect ascents of between 800 and 1,200 metres in altitude, sometimes combined with short sections where you’ll need to carry your skis or technical terrain, followed by couloir descents, depending on conditions. The striking Oberalpstock beckons with several impressive couloirs and is a real highlight for experienced ski mountaineers seeking steep, alpine lines. But the surrounding areas around Disentis also offer exciting alternatives and provide us with a variety of interesting descent options, naturally off the beaten track.

    • Conclusion

      approx. 3 pm

On the last day, we say goodbye to each other after the tour. The return journey is made individually.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us, preferably via the Contact form.

That's what our guests say:

Felix Haemmerli

Jasper and Flo took us for a weekend to the biggest and longest couloir I have ever seen. A great experience off the beaten track. You can tell that they enjoy guiding people through the mountains, which created a great atmosphere in the group. Although it wasn't a training course, they found time during the tours to incorporate short training sequences on snowpack structure, avalanches and rope technique if we wanted them to. Many thanks for a great weekend. We'd love to do it again!
