Downhill-orientated ski tour above Lake Walen
Snow-covered forests, views of Lake Walen and fresh powder snow!
It's also snowing heavily in eastern Switzerland and the sun is even shining on Sunday! So we set off on a downhill ski tour above Lake Walen. A small chairlift takes us up the first few metres in altitude. We then continue through the idyllic snow-covered forest until we reach more open terrain. By now the sun will be out and we can enjoy the marvellous view of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. After a comfortable 700 metres in altitude, we reach the summit of the Nüenchamm, which offers a magnificent descent. We whizz down together in deep snow and enjoy the fantastic slope gradient. Depending on our mood, we can climb up again or tackle the last few metres of the descent. Because thanks to the cable car, we'll be able to descend 1200 metres in just 700 metres!

Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Fitness for ski tours with around 800 metres of ascent at a leisurely pace (~300m/h) and significantly more descent.
- Splitboarders are welcome.
Group size
- Takes place with 4 - 6 guests per mountain guide.

- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.

- For this tour you need the following material from this PDF. We carry our equipment with us all the time. Pack only what is necessary.
Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
