Simplon

During these two days, we will be out and about together in the field with the aim of experiencing, learning and directly applying as much as possible. You have the opportunity to become active yourself, make decisions and be supported at all times. We clarify open questions and important topics in a practical way on site - exactly where they are relevant.

If you have already gained some experience on a ski tour and would like to deepen your knowledge of avalanche awareness, tour planning and ski touring technique, this is the right place for you. Depending on the interests of the participants, we will cover different aspects of ski touring - from safe track setting and avalanche assessment to tour planning and downhill technique. All you need is curiosity, motivation and a desire to learn outdoors.

The Simplon region around Wasenalp offers ideal conditions for practical training and impressive touring experiences at the same time. The region is known for its guaranteed snow, favourable avalanche conditions and varied terrain - from gentle slopes to exciting summit destinations. Between the Simplon Pass, Wasenalp and Hübschhorn, we find the perfect routes to directly combine theory and practice.

For optimum preparation, we recommend that you attend a Avalanche theory evening to take part. The 2-day course is compact and practice-orientated. For more in-depth and comprehensive training with additional application tours, we recommend the 4-day training course in Safiental or the Training week in Sedrun.

Come with us to the Simplon region - where learning becomes experience, knowledge becomes security and a group becomes a real community.
