The ski tour safari from Laucherenalp is a magnificent and leisurely tour with many metres of downhill skiing. Perfect conditions await this Saturday with fresh snow and good weather! Thanks to the Laucherenalp cable car, we start at an altitude of around 3000 metres and embark on a cool tour with two ascents and two long descents to Leukerbad. We enjoy the view of the prominent mountains of the Bernese Oberland, Lötschenlücke and Bietschhorn. Around 500 metres of ascent and 1800 metres of descent.

Meeting place:
- 09.15 am, Wiler valley station Lacherenalp
- The best way to get here is by train.
- If you are travelling by car, it is best to park in Goppenstein at the train station.

Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Stamina for ski tours of around 500 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h).
- Condition for 1600m of descent in different types of snow.
- Splitboarders are welcome, provided they are experienced.
Group size
- Takes place with up to 7 guests per mountain guide.

Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
