  • Day 1 - Welcome and getting to know each other

    We get to know each other and clarify your expectations.

  • Day 1 - Learn and apply

    We go on a leisurely ski tour together and take the time to look at and discuss everything we need to know. As usual, we look for the best snow and look forward to a great descent.

    Daily destination: You learnt a lot of new things, your questions were answered and you received individual support in the terrain. You were able to gain your first experience of ski touring.

  • Day 2 - Apply and consolidate

    Once again we go on a leisurely ski tour and look for the best snow to ski down. We enjoy the time together and learn new things.

    Daily destination: You build on what you have learnt and become more confident in its application. You will gain a clear impression of what ski touring is and what it requires.

• Venues

  Eastern Switzerland, Fideris Heuberge

  The Heuberge are car-free, from Fideris we take a public bus to the hotel.

  • Meeting point: 09:20 Fideris - bus station (old sawmill, there are also plenty of car parking spaces here)
  • Finish: 16:00 Fideris bus station

  We spend the night in the Heubergen in a lovely hotel. Thanks to the small ski lifts, we can go on great ski tours with more descent than ascent. We spend the night in

  Berne region, Schwarenbach

   

• Requirements

  • No previous ski touring experience required.
  • Experience in skiing on the slopes.
  • Stamina for short ski tours with an ascent of around 800 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h)

• Price and services

  • CHF 525.-
  • Small group with 4 - 8 guests per mountain guide.
  • Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
  • Including overnight stay in a hut and half board
  • Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.

      • You can collect this from the Sport Trend Shop with our booking confirmation and pay there. Please contact STS in advance to reserve the equipment. Collection on Friday and return by Tuesday.
