Ski touring training week Sedrun with mountain guide
Learn how to plan and organise ski tours independently with our mountain guides - with great practical tours!
We show you what really matters when ski touring. Step by step, you will deepen your knowledge, your technique and your feel for the terrain on varied practical tours. We spend five days together in Sedrun, an ideal starting point with perfect connections to the train and cable cars. This allows us to react flexibly to the weather and conditions and undertake new tours every day. This ski touring paradise offers everything your heart desires: ideal learning conditions, magnificent landscapes and impressive descents that make every tour a special experience.
During this week, we build up our knowledge step by step and deepen it directly in the terrain. We combine theory and practice so that you can ski tour more safely, more efficiently and with even more enjoyment.
Procedure and course content
We meet at the railway station in Sedrun. We deposit our luggage and immediately set off on a leisurely ski tour before moving into the hotel.
We start with the Tgom cable car and head straight into the snow. First we refresh our knowledge of ski touring techniques and equipment before setting off on a leisurely ski tour. Thanks to the cable cars, we can round off the day with an enjoyable descent.
The evening before, we plan the tour for the next day together. We take into account the weather and conditions in order to select the right terrain and the ideal route.
You will learn step by step how to plan tours professionally and apply this knowledge directly on the tour. On each tour, we add another piece of the puzzle so that you continuously refine your knowledge and skills.
Thanks to the excellent railway and cable car connections, we benefit from the diversity of the ski touring paradise around Sedrun. This means we can undertake tours that start from the Oberalp Pass via the Piz Máler to the Lukmanier Pass or from the cable cars in Disentis. We continue to build up our knowledge and deepen it step by step.
