Highlights

The special thing about this tour is being out and about for several days in the midst of the mighty high mountains. Impressive ascents, breathtaking descents and encounters with several 4000 metre peaks await you on the rugged glaciers of the Monte Rosa massif. Travelling from hut to hut is a unique experience - high alpine, varied and with magnificent views. Even in late spring, the conditions at this altitude are usually excellent. There is always fresh snow and skiing in early summer is simply a pleasure - much more pleasant on skis than on foot ;)

Tour

The Spaghetti Tour is one of the most impressive ski mountaineering weeks in the Alps. In five days, the route leads along the Swiss-Italian border through the heart of the Monte Rosa massif. The route takes you over mighty glaciers, past several four-thousand-metre peaks and into an impressive high mountain ambience. You start in Zermatt, from where the tour leads over high alpine crossings and peaks to the Italian side. Overnight stays are in cosy huts on the Italian side, with fine cuisine, „Primi“ and „Secondi“, which give the tour its name. On the last day, depending on the snow conditions, the descent leads either from Punta Indren into the valley, from where a taxi takes us to Domodossola, or in good conditions via the Monte Rosa hut back to the Riffelberg mountain station. This tour is an alpine highlight for experienced ski tourers who want to experience the high mountains in all their diversity. Technically demanding, scenically overwhelming and a culinary delight.
