Spontaneous tour Prättigau with mountain guide
The forests and mountains of the Prättigau are covered in fresh snow this Friday. We are prepared and are going on a spontaneous tour with you.

A freshly snow-covered landscape, fine powder and enough snow to playfully dance on our skis between the trees in the Prättigau forest and have great fun. This will probably be one of those days when your grin gets bigger and bigger and you infect others with your good mood after the tour because you come back home so fulfilled. Due to the unstable weather conditions and the high avalanche situation, we seek out the deep snow between sparse trees and contrasting terrain. We make around 800 vertical metres of ascent and significantly more turns and vertical metres of descent. You will find out the exact meeting point in Prättigau by 6 pm tomorrow, Thursday.
Procedure and meeting place
We will meet on Friday at around 9am in Prättigau. The exact meeting point will be announced by 6 pm tomorrow, Thursday.
We look for contrasting terrain and make around 800 metres of ascent and significantly more turns downhill. The fine powder and the freshly snow-covered white landscape put a big grin on our faces.
We finish the tour together back in the valley.
Requirements
- Mastering the ski touring technique with its basics (skins, hairpin turns).
- Safe downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Condition for ski tours with around 1000hm at a comfortable pace (~300hm/h).
- Condition for 1500m descent in different types of snow.
- Splitboarders, if experienced, are welcome
Price and services
- CHF 195.-
- Small group with 4 - 7 guests per mountain guide.
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.

- For this tour you need the material from this PDF. We carry our equipment with us all the time. Pack only what is necessary.

Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
