  • When is the best time for ski touring and freeriding?

    The main season for ski touring and freeriding around Engelberg usually lasts from December to April. The best powder conditions are often found in January and February, while spring, with more stable snow conditions, offers ideal conditions for longer ski tours. Thanks to the height of the Titlis glacier, freeride descents are often possible until late spring.

  • What are the most beautiful ski tours around Engelberg?

    There is a wide variety of ski tours around Engelberg: from easy beginners' destinations to challenging peaks. Popular touring areas are located around the Brunni area, the Joch Pass or in the valleys around the Titlis.

    Yes, experienced splitboarders are very welcome on our courses. Our mountain guides are familiar with the special features of splitboards and take them into account when it comes to ascent technique, hairpin bends, tracks, line choice and safety aspects. It is important that your equipment is suitable for the terrain and that you are familiar with your splitboard.

  • How does the journey work and where do we meet?

    We usually meet directly in Engelberg at an easily accessible meeting point.

    Typical meeting places are

    • the valley station of the Titlis mountain railway
    • the Brunni valley station
    • Car parks near the tour

    We always choose the meeting point so that it is possible to arrive by public transport.
    You will receive the exact meeting point by e-mail a few days before the start of the tour.

  • How much does a guided tour in Engelberg cost?

    Prices vary depending on the tour, group size and programme.
    A private day tour costs CHF 890.
    For group tours, the price is reduced depending on the size of the group and the number of participants. You can find the current prices directly under the respective offers on our website.

    We will organise a certified mountain guide for you who will take your goals, your level and your wishes into account.

    We make sure that the ability, fitness and expectations within the group match so that everyone has a safe and intensive mountain experience. So you don't have to bring your own group - you can sign up on your own at any time and are very welcome.
