Endurance
Engelberg is a freeride mecca and Monday is shaping up to be a great day. Light, cold precipitation down to low altitudes and an improvement in the weather from Monday! Our local mountain guide knows Engelberg really well! So join us for a super powder day! We'll do the most rewarding descents and collect many metres of downhill skiing. Depending on how the day goes, we'll ski up in the afternoon and reach new untracked slopes.
Procedure and meeting place
We meet at the valley station in Engelberg, Titlis. If you are travelling by train, walk from Engelberg station to the valley station, this is much quicker than by bus. Please buy your ticket online in advance.
Requirements
- Good downhill technique in open terrain and in different types of snow.
- Condition for a good day of freeriding
- Splitboarders are welcome, provided they are experienced.
Group size
- Takes place with up to 6 guests per mountain guide.
Price and services
- CHF 225.-
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.
Material and equipment
- We have for you a detailed packing list with packing tips compiled.
- For this tour you need the following material from this PDF. We carry our equipment with us all the time. Pack only what is necessary.
Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
