Mountain guide Philipp Bührer

Philipp loves all facets of mountain sports: whether skiing in powder snow, climbing on sun-warmed limestone walls or the moment when he reaches the summit together as a rope team: proud, exhausted and happy. What he values most is the bond that develops on a tour together! With his guests, he is always on the lookout for something special, the quiet valleys, the unspoilt slopes, the lines that hardly anyone finds. As a teacher for year 10, Philipp knows how to motivate, guide and safely accompany people. Anyone travelling with him immediately senses his enthusiasm for the mountains and his calm, responsible manner with which he guides people safely through the mountains.

Philipp lives with his family in Muri near Bern.

Wonderful ski touring weekend in the Saas Valley with very good mountain guide Philipp, two summits and training. As a Bavarian newcomer to the Western Alps, I was thrilled.

"Tödi one Push" was a challenge, so it was exactly what I wanted. Mountain guide Philipp and aspirant Michi were great and I felt safe and comfortable. Even when the weather didn't always look like it. The snow conditions were exceptionally good and made this super tour very spectacular. My tip for everyone: eat enough during the ascent - I should have done better. This was my 3rd tour with Bergschaft and not the last! Sandra from Bergschaft went to great lengths to photograph all the participants with the mountain backdrop etc. One more time many many thanks.

The ski touring trip to Georgia was a real adventure and much more than „just“ a week of touring. I was particularly impressed by the immersion in another world - with exciting cultural impressions, new encounters and a pleasant contrast to everyday life. The tours led through varied mountain landscapes with open slopes, small side valleys and breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The fortified towers, narrow alleyways and free-roaming horses and cows were particularly impressive - giving the trip a very original character. We were also spoilt with culinary delights, which rounded off the intensive days of touring perfectly. The organisation was superb: from preparation to execution, everything was clearly structured and well thought out. An all-round successful trip with an adventurous character, intense nature experiences, cultural highlights and lasting impressions - absolutely recommendable.

Philipp Bührer guided us through a wonderful, instructive and adventurous weekend! He catered to individual needs and every participant clearly felt comfortable and safe. Thank you Philipp for the great ice climbing course!
