Climbing directly above Lake Walen
If you like to combine water, sun & rock, you don't necessarily have to go to the sea. Julian's newly established climbing route "freikletterkultur" at Lake Walen offers a holiday ambience like in the South of France.
Our mountain guide Julian has drilled an exciting route on Lake Walen. The approach over the water with a view of the Churfirsten peaks is unique. Whether kayak, SUP or pedalo, it takes about an hour to get to the start. The pedalo or SUP can be hired right at the meeting point. After the crossing, 4 beautiful pitches await us in not quite vertical limestone rock, a breathtaking backdrop and fantastic experiences. After abseiling 3 times, we return to the ledge by the water. After the "obligatory jump" into the water, we take a leisurely walk back to Unterterzen.
Take your time and let Julian guide you over the water and the rock.

- End: approx. 16:30 Unterterzen railway station
Requirements
- You have mastered belaying and climbing.
- You have first experience in abseiling.
- You can climb up to the 5th degree. But you are also welcome to lead.
- Condition for climbing tours with 4 rope lengths (approx. 2h)

- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Excluding travel expenses, rental of SUP, kayak or pedalo in the Intersport Unterterzen.

Bergschaft tours and courses are conducted in German as standard. However, our mountain guides speak good English, as do many of the participants. If you speak English, you are of course very welcome. Depending on the tour, it may be worth asking us in advance whether the guide and the group are comfortable speaking English.
