Climbing holidays Ticino | Climbing course intensive
Climbing in Ticino in the sun! Everyone is welcome, whether rock climbing novice or outdoor enthusiast! Learn, practise and enjoy is the motto of the four days in sunny Ticino.
Ticino
Would you like to discover rock climbing or develop your rock climbing skills? Then these four days in the beautiful Maggia Valley are just the thing for you - whether you're a beginner or an advanced climber. Do you already climb in the gym but have never been on the rocks? Then this is the ideal opportunity for you to take the plunge outside. We will help you get started with outdoor climbing and show you what you need to pay attention to so that you can climb safely and enjoy yourself outdoors. You will learn the basics from A to Z: how to correctly tie yourself into the harness, how to use quickdraws, how to secure your climbing partner and how to master rope manoeuvres such as redirecting and threading - all in a safe environment with plenty of time to practise. And if you are already an independent climber, we will look for suitable routes together where you can improve your technique, hone your rope handling and increase your climbing efficiency. If you already climb outside on the rock and would like to take the plunge into multi-pitch climbing, we will have enough time to show you the process and the basics of multi-pitch climbing.
We spend four varied days in various climbing gardens and multi-pitch routes in the sunny Maggia Valley. You can apply and consolidate what you have learnt and benefit from the experience and individual input of our expert mountain guides. Regardless of your climbing level - we will pick you up where you are and ensure that you go home with a rucksack full of new experiences, climbing tips and motivation!
