Monte Rosa

We enjoy unique experiences in the heart of the Monte Rosa region - where the mountain world could hardly be wilder, bigger or more impressive. Thanks to the Klein Matterhorn railway, we set off in comfort and immerse ourselves directly in the majestic scenery of mighty glaciers and imposing peaks around Zermatt. We spend three nights in the cosy Monte Rosa Hut - our comfortable base for unforgettable days of ski touring. From here, we have numerous rewarding tour destinations at our disposal: panoramic peaks, long firn descents and impressive glacier landscapes that will make the heart of any ski touring fan beat faster. This tour is perfect for passionate ski touring enthusiasts. While spring is already arriving in the valley, we enjoy the best snow up here and make our tracks through the high alpine terrain. Technically, the tour is aimed at advanced ski tourers - experience with crampons, good skiing technique and a solid level of fitness are required. However, thanks to the wide variety of possible destinations and variants, the tour can be perfectly adapted to the conditions and group.

An ideal combination of alpine challenges, scenic beauty and enjoyable descents - and an experience that brings the special appeal of ski mountaineering to life in all its fascination.

The subsequent descent through the Schwarztor offers pure skiing pleasure in the midst of an impressive glacier world. A short ascent leads us to the Monte Rosa hut, our base for the next few days. Here we end the day on the sunny hut terrace and enjoy the view of the mighty icefalls and rock faces of Monte Rosa.

Every day offers new perspectives, impressive ascents and marvellous descents in the midst of this fascinating world of ice. The tours vary in length and difficulty, but always require safe climbing with crampons, solid skiing technique and a good level of fitness. In return, we are rewarded with unforgettable moments and magnificent views of the surrounding four-thousand-metre peaks.
