This four-day ski touring course with practical tours is varied and exciting. During the training and application tours, we will teach you the basics of ski touring and provide you with individualised feedback. In this course, we have enough time to cover all aspects of ski touring. The aim is to teach you all the basics of ski touring so that you are well prepared and trained to enter the world of ski touring.
Course content & procedure
We get to know each other and clarify your expectations.
We start with the course and explain the exact procedure and go into the course content. On the first day we will learn a lot of new, applied and practice-orientated things. We take the time to deliberately repeat the topics several times to create confidence.
Daily destination: You have learnt the basics of ski touring and gained experience in the use of safety equipment.

Theory Meteo (evening)

During an application tour we repeat what we learnt the day before and learn new things.
Daily destination: Becoming confident on the ascent with touring skis - the movement sequence for techniques such as hairpin bends is automated

Ski technique
- We cannot teach you how to ski on the slopes during ski tours, but we are happy to give you a few tips. If you want to improve your skiing technique, we recommend taking part in one of our skiing technique courses.

Conclusion: ~15:00 at the same location - adapted to public transportDas Skitourengebiet rund um die Gemmi und die Lämmerenhütte SAC gehört zu den vielseitigsten und eindrucksvollsten Regionen im Berner Oberland. Der Ausgangspunkt ist bequem mit der Seilbahn von Leukerbad auf den Gemmipass (2’315 m) erreichbar. Von dort führt ein einfacher Zustieg über den Lämmerenboden zur Lämmerenhütte (2’507 m), die in etwa einer Stunde erreicht wird. Die Hütte bietet im Winter wie im Sommer eine hervorragende Basis für alpine Unternehmungen und verfügt über eine gemütliche Atmosphäre mit herrlichem Ausblick auf die umliegenden Gipfel wie Wildstrubel, Daubenhorn und Steghorn.
Die Region ist bekannt für ihre abwechslungsreichen Skitourenmöglichkeiten, die sowohl Einsteiger als auch erfahrene Alpinisten ansprechen. Beliebte Tourenziele sind unter anderem der Wildstrubel (3’243 m), das Daubenhorn (2’942 m), der Rote Totz (2’848 m) oder das Steghorn (3’147 m).
Dank der Höhenlage ist das Gebiet schneesicher und bietet oft bis in den Frühling hinein beste Bedingungen. Die Kombination aus leichter Erreichbarkeit, landschaftlicher Schönheit und großem Tourenpotenzial macht die Gemmi und die Lämmerenhütte zu einem idealen Ziel für diese Skitouren- und Lawinenkurs

Andermatt / Oberalp Pass

Conclusion: ~15:00 at the same location - adapted to public transportDas Berghotel Tiefenbach (2’110 m) liegt idyllisch am alten Furkapass, hoch über dem Dorf Realp im Urserental. Im Winter ist das Hotel nur zu mit den Tourenski erreichbar. Genau diese Abgeschiedenheit macht Tiefenbach zu einem ganz besonderen Ort: ruhig, schneesicher, umgeben von einer faszinierenden hochalpinen Landschaft.

Conclusion: ~15:00 at the same location - adapted to public transportDie Chamanna Jenatsch (2’652 m) ist die höchstgelegene SAC-Hütte im Kanton Graubünden und liegt abgelegen und ruhig im Herzen der Albula-Alpen – zwischen Julierpass, Piz Beverin und Piz Kesch. Die Umgebung bietet ein wunderschönes, schneesicheres Skitourengebiet mit zahlreichen Gipfeln und Übergängen in alle Richtungen.
Requirements
- No previous ski touring experience required.
- You know how to ski on black pistes.
- Stamina for short ski tours with an ascent of around 600 metres at a leisurely pace (~300m/h).
- Splitboarders are welcome.

- Small group with 4 - 7 guests per mountain guide.
- Including planning and realisation with mountain guide and his travel expenses.
- Including accommodation costs and half board.
- Excluding travel expenses, possible train tickets, personal consumption.
