Downhill-orientated freetouring crossing Davos with mountain guide
Downhill-orientated freetouring in the form of a short ski traverse in Davos.
Spring-like conditions promise maximum downhill fun on this ski traverse. On sunny south-facing slopes we find beautiful firn and snow and enjoy long, enjoyable turns through the impressive mountain landscape around Davos. Thanks to the Parsenn cable car, we can reach the Weissfluh summit quickly and easily and start a varied day of ski touring from there. Our focus is clearly on the descents: we gain around 600-800 metres of ascent over two peaks, while a total of more than 2000 metres of descent await us. We move through wide slopes and alpine terrain, always on the lookout for the best firn and slush of the day. At the end, the tour takes us down to Langwies in the Schanfigg mountain valley in Graubünden, from where we travel back comfortably by train. If you are travelling by car, we recommend parking your car at Landquart railway station.
Procedure and meeting place
We meet in the morning at the valley station of the Parsenn cable car in Davos. Your mountain guide will already buy the ticket for the ascent for all of you. If you do not need a ticket because you already have a valid one, please indicate this in the comments when you register.
