Surrounded by classics such as Parsenn, Jakobshorn and the Flüela Pass, Davos opens up a huge playing field for ski tours and freeride adventures.   • When is the best time for ski touring?

    The main season for ski tours around Davos usually lasts from December to the end of April. The best powder conditions are usually found in January and February, while spring, with more stable avalanche conditions, offers ideal conditions for longer ski tours and summit destinations. Ski tours in the high mountains or longer crossings are often possible until May, depending on the snow conditions.

  • What are the most beautiful ski tours around Davos?

    There is an enormous selection of ski tours around Davos: from short beginner tours to challenging alpine endeavours. Popular touring areas include those around the Flüela Pass, in moonstone, the Jakobshorn or the peaks around Parsenn.   • Can I also take part in your courses with a splitboard?

    Yes, experienced splitboarders are very welcome on our courses. Our mountain guides know the special features of splitboards and adapt content such as ascent technique, hairpin turns, tracking, line choice and safety aspects accordingly. It is important that your equipment is suitable for the terrain and that you are familiar with the handling of your splitboard.

  • How does the journey work and where do we meet?

    We usually meet directly in Davos at a location that is easily accessible both by public transport and by car.

    Typical meeting places are

    • Davos Platz or Davos Dorf railway station
    • Mountain railway valley stations (Parsenn or Jakobshorn)
    • Car parks near the tour
    • Selected meeting points along the Flüela Pass

    We always choose the meeting point so that it is possible to travel by public transport or to form car pools.
    You will receive the exact meeting point by e-mail a few days before the start of the tour.

  • How much does a guided tour in Davos cost?

    Prices vary depending on the tour, group size and programme. A private day tour costs CHF 890. For group tours, the price drops significantly depending on the size of the group and the number of participants.

  • How do I find a mountain guide for my private tour?
