This impressive round tour in the Flüela area of Davos combines everything that makes a really nice ski tour: a rewarding ascent, an exciting summit with great views, fantastic descents and, as the crowning glory, an additional crossing. From Davos, we travel together by Alpine taxi or private vehicle to Tschuggen. From there, we ascend towards Flüela Wisshorn in around four hours. Shortly below the summit, we leave our skis behind and reach the panoramic summit via a short foot ascent. The subsequent descent leads us in the direction of the Jöriseen lakes, a scenic highlight in the midst of a wild, high alpine backdrop. As a final highlight, the ascent through the Wöschchuchi awaits us (approx. 1 hour) before we enjoy the last descent back to Tschuggen. A varied tour with alpine character and beautiful lines, ideal for anyone looking for a complete ski tour with summit and round tour experience.

Our tour starts in Tschuggen on the Flüela Pass. From there we climb at a leisurely pace (approx. 350 metres per hour), initially following the pass road. We soon make our way into open terrain and ascend towards the summit. We make our ski depot below the summit. We reach the summit via the east ridge. This is a little wider at first, then becomes slightly exposed for a few metres. Well coached by the mountain guide and secured if necessary, we reach the summit on foot. Back on our skis, a wonderful descent to the frozen Jöriseen lakes awaits us. We won't be able to resist the odd whoop or two. Here we ski up again to get back to Tschuggen via the Wöschchuchi. Another great descent awaits us.

    • Conclusion
