Rock and Ice Course Sustli

The Sustli area with its impressive gneiss mountains, small but wild glaciers together with the well-catered Sustlihütte and the Grassenbiwak are perfect for learning mountaineering. In this course we will learn the techniques of alpine touring together. We will do cool tours and learn what to look out for. In the first few days we will look at the basics on short tours and discuss how to plan alpine tours. In the following days, we'll put what we've learnt into practice on some of the great tours in the area. We will spend the first two nights in the Sustli hut and the last night in the secluded, idyllic Grassen bivouac. Here we will cook together and enjoy the sunset and sunrise directly from the bivouac.
